Commercial Construction Management
We were just awarded a contract from Orange County Corrections to renovate their detention cell showers in Building E. The project scope includes enclosing the open shower entrances along with the fabrication and installation of stainless steel doors and frames. Once complete, this new setup will provide additional safety for the correctional officers and staff when handling the inmates.
After handling several insurance claims for clientele, Terra Firma established a division to meet the insurance restoration needs of both commercial and residential property owners in Central Florida. The staff members have an extensive background in the insurance restoration industry. Additionally, they are both IICRC and Xactimate certified.

Terra Firma will be providing mold remediation at the Central Florida Leadership Academy, a charter school located in the city of Orlando. Our scope includes remediation and removal of mold in all affected classrooms, including their conference room. Once remediation is complete, we will additionally provide all reconstruction services necessary to completely restore those areas.
This project includes new BACnet compatible digital controls for 26 City of Orlando Facilities. These include air handling unit controllers, variable air volume controllers, chiller controllers, and sensors. All controlled with a central BACnet web based controls server, which has the capability to include pre-programmed energy, environmental monitoring, and comfort reporting tools. At some locations there is also the replacement of existing air handling units to new high efficiency models, the installation of heat pump water heaters for domestic water heating and high efficiency lighting upgrades, with LED lighting retrofits.
Residential Construction
Terra Firma CMI has begun construction on a new 9000 square foot house in the luxury home Winter Park, Florida community of Windsong. This property is a contemporary design by the renowned Nasrallah Architectural Group and is scheduled to be completed in December of this year. Once complete, we will add photos of the finished product to our residential gallery.
Current Jobs we are Bidding
We are currently submitting a request for qualifications to Orange County Government for approval as one of the general contractors to be utilized on the new minor construction projects contract. We will provide another update once the results of our submittal are made available.
Terra Firma Construction Management has currently submitted a bid for a project at Stetson University in Deland, Florida. The project consists of renovations of four (4) 36,000 square foot, three story apartment buildings. We will update the status once our project proposal has been reviewed.
